About this part
The Heybike Tire Liner is a puncture protection strip that sits between the tire and the tube. On a heavy e-bike ridden on city streets, glass and wire punctures are the main cause of flats, and a liner is the cheapest thing that meaningfully reduces them. It is offered for the Mars, Mars 2.0, Cityscape, Race Plus, Race Max and Explore.
Function: puncture protection. Position: between tire and tube. Fitment: select your bike from the Fits bike option. Fit it when you next have the tire off, centering the strip under the tread, and make sure the ends overlap smoothly rather than leaving a step that can chafe the tube. A liner reduces flats; it does not replace carrying a spare tube.
