About this part
A replacement pair of pedals for Heybike e-bikes. Platform pedals wear their grip pins smooth long before the bearings go, and slick pedals in the wet are worth fixing early. These replace a pair that has gone slippery, developed play, or been bent in a fall. Fitments cover the Horizon, Cityrun, Tyson, Cityscape, Race Max, Alpha, Brawn, Mars, Mars 2.0, Ranger, Ranger S and Explore.
Sold as a left and right pair with a standard thread. Select your bike from the Fits bike option. The left pedal is reverse-threaded, so check which pedal is which before you start and turn it the right way, or you will strip the crank arm. Grease the threads, tighten them firmly, and recheck after the first few rides. A pedal that creaks is usually a dry thread rather than a bad bearing.
