About this part
The cadence sensor that tells the controller you are pedaling, mounted at the bottom bracket on Heybike e-bikes. When this fails the assist either never engages or lags a half-rotation behind you, which most riders misread as a controller fault. Fitments cover the Mars, Ranger, Ranger S, Tyson, Cityrun, Brawn, Explore, Race Plus, Race Max, Cityscape and Sola.
Type is a cadence, or pedal assist, sensor, and position is the bottom bracket. Select your bike from the Fits bike option. Getting at the sensor may mean removing the crank arm on that side, so check the clearance before you start. Route the lead the way the original ran so it clears the crank, and before replacing, check that the old sensor's plug is seated, since a half-connected plug gives the same lag as a dead sensor.
