About this part
The main harness cable that links the controller to the rest of a Heybike e-bike. It replaces a cable whose insulation has been chafed where it exits the frame, which is where these usually fail, or one whose plugs have corroded past cleaning. Replace rather than splice, since a spliced harness is a future fault. Fitments cover the Cityrun, Race Max, Race Plus, Explore, Cityscape, Mars, Ranger and Brawn.
The run is controller to harness and the connectors are pre-terminated and plug and play, so there is no crimping or soldering. Select your bike from the Fits bike option. Disconnect the battery first, then photograph the old routing before you pull it, so the new cable follows the same path and gets the same protection where it passes the frame. Add a wrap of tape or a grommet at the exit point if the old one was missing.
