About this part
The rear freewheel for Heybike e-bikes, the cluster at the rear hub that lets the wheel coast. A freewheel that skips under load or fails to engage when you push off has worn its pawls, and that is a replacement rather than a service. Fitments cover the Mars, Mars 2.0, Race Max, Race Plus, Explore, Cityrun, Brawn, Tyson, Cityscape and Ranger.
Position is the rear hub. Select your bike from the Fits bike option so it matches your wheel. Removal needs a freewheel tool, and the old one is often very tight, so have a long handle ready. Fit the new one with grease on the threads, and check the chain at the same time, since a stretched chain will skip on a new freewheel and make you think the fault is still there. Run through the gears on the stand before riding.
