Heybike Bike Chain

Replacement drive chain for Heybike commuter e-bikes. On a mid-drive e-bike the chain carries motor torque as well as your legs, so it stretches noticeably faster than on an unassisted bike, and it needs checking more often than you would expect. It replaces a chain that measures stretched, has stiff links, or has started skipping. Fitments cover the Cityrun, Race Max, Cityscape, Mars, Ranger, Explore, Sola, Brawn and Tyson.

Select your bike from the Fits bike option to get the right chain for your drivetrain. Measure the old chain with a wear gauge before you replace it, and if it is well past the wear mark, look at the freewheel and chainring teeth too, since a new chain on worn teeth will skip. Size the new chain against the old one link for link, and lube it before the first ride rather than running it dry from the box.
