About this part
The handlebar stem for the Freego Nova 5, machined from aluminum alloy with an anodized black finish. Anodizing on a stem is not cosmetic: it is what stops corrosion setting in at the clamp faces, where alloy and steel fasteners sit against each other in the weather.
The bar clamp is 31.8mm, which is the standard oversize bicycle bar diameter, so a bar of that size will seat correctly. Verified against the Freego Nova 5. Torque the clamp bolts evenly in a cross pattern so the gap stays parallel top and bottom, and check the bar has not been marked or crushed by the old stem before reusing it.
