The flat key pin for the Freego Nova 3. It sits in a slot cut across the shaft and the part fitted over it, and it is what actually transmits torque between the two: without it a pulley or sprocket will simply spin on its shaft under load.
Verified against the Freego Nova 3. A key that has started to round off is worth replacing while the assembly is apart, because the same wear will spread to the keyway in the shaft, and that is not a part you replace on its own. Check the slot in the shaft is clean and undamaged before fitting a new key, and do not force one that will not seat.
