How much can I actually carry?
The lowest of three numbers: the rack's rating, the bike's total payload, and the tire's load rating. Subtract your own weight from the bike's payload figure to get what is left for cargo. The tire rating is the one most people never look up.
Will a rack fit my bike?
Racks mount to frame eyelets or seat stays and the spacing varies between similar-looking models. Filter to your bike, and note that most Heybike accessories carry a Fits bike dropdown on the product page instead of a code.
Does a loaded rack change how the bike rides?
Yes, more than people expect. Weight high and behind the rear axle lightens the front end and lengthens your braking distance. Load heavy items low and as far forward as the rack allows, and take the first loaded ride gently.
How do I know a part fits my bike?
Every part carries a fitment code and we check it against a compatibility database before listing it. Filter any collection to your bike, or email a photo of your frame plate to hello@motorhabit.com and we will answer within 24 hours.
What if it does not fit?
Send it back. 14 days to start a return on any part, no restocking fee, uninstalled and in its original packaging with the hardware bag unopened. If our fitment data was wrong, we cover the return shipping too — that one is on us, not you.

About Racks & Storage

What is here. Twenty-seven carry parts, almost all Heybike, plus the Yozma IN 10 carry bag. Racks: the Saturn rear rack, the Hero rear rack in trapeze-frame and step-through-frame versions, the Venus fenders and rear rack set, a side rack, and the side luggage rack set for left and right. Baskets: a compact front basket, a front basket and an iron-bottom front basket, a large rear basket, a dual rear side basket set and a pet bike basket.

Bags and kits. Soft storage covers the handlebar bag, top tube bag, cross body bag, tail bag, pannier bag and bike rack pannier bag. The kits group several of these: the Heavy-Duty Cargo Kit, Urban Utility Kit, Universal Adventure Kit, Rider's Essential Kit, Pet Commuter Kit and Deluxe Pet Cruiser Kit. Riders usually decide by load first. Groceries and a lock go in a basket or pannier. A dog goes in the pet basket. A rear rack comes first if the bike did not ship with one, since panniers hang from it.

Fitment. Racks and frame-mounted baskets are tagged to the Heybike models they were checked against, with the Hero rack split by frame style, and the fitment badge on the product card shows that before you open the listing. Match the frame style as well as the model name.
